The village

Navarrés is a typical Spanish village, with two supermarkets, a medical center, bakery, butcher, a weekly market every Thursday, bars, real Spanish restaurants, you name it.

The neighboring villages also have a lot to offer. For example, having breakfast in the beautiful village of Sumacàrcer is highly recommended! The route to Sumàcarcer is breathtaking, you may have to stop for crossing mountain goats.

You can reach cozy Xativa within a 20-minute drive. In an hour you can reach the beautiful city of Valencia or the coastal town of Cullera, where the castle gives you an amazing view of the coastline.

Nature

The most beautiful thing about Navarrés is the overwhelming nature.

You will find several waterfalls nearby, many walking and cycling routes, a large reservoir (where you can swim, kayak and/or fish), a lake with a beach and beach bars and the ruins of Castillo. Despite everything this region has to offer, it has not yet been truly discovered by tourism.

The Canal de Navarrés region is very affordable. An extensive breakfast or a three-course meal in a restaurant costs a pittance of what we are used to in the Netherlands! Entrance tickets to museums and other activities are also cheap.
